By subscribing to WasteZeroFood, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Subscription Plans
WasteZeroFood offers the following monthly subscription plans for PG owners:

4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app under Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to all features until that date.
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle after cancellation.
- Cancelling does not automatically delete your account or your PG's data. You can reactivate at any time.
5. Refund Eligibility
5.1 Standard policy (no refund for consumed months)
Because WasteZeroFood is a digital service that provides immediate access to all features upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds for partially used subscription months. Once a billing cycle begins and you have accessed the platform, the subscription fee for that cycle is non-refundable.
5.2 Exceptions — refunds will be issued in these cases:
- Duplicate payment — if you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error.
- Billing error — if you were charged an incorrect amount not matching the plan you selected.
- Service unavailability — if WasteZeroFood was completely inaccessible for more than 72 continuous hours in a billing period due to our technical failure (not scheduled maintenance), a pro-rated refund for the downtime period will be issued on request.
- Unauthorised charge — if you did not authorise the payment and report it within 7 days of the charge.
- Within 7 days of first subscription — new subscribers who are not satisfied with the platform may request a full refund within 7 days of their very first payment, provided the platform was used for evaluation purposes only (fewer than 5 meal booking cycles confirmed).

Please include the following when requesting a refund:
- Your registered phone number
- The PG name on your account
- Date and amount of the payment in question
- Reason for the refund request
- Razorpay payment ID (found in your subscription confirmation email)
7. Refund Processing Time
- We will acknowledge your refund request within 24 hours of receipt.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) used at the time of purchase.
- Depending on your bank, the credit may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.
